Marriage
and family therapy professionals are invited into membership in Delta Kappa
through three avenues. The first
includes students in accredited marriage and family therapy programs who have
earned at least 12 credit hours with a grade point average of 3.75 or
higher. The second includes graduates
from such accredited marriage and family therapy programs with a concluding
grade point average of 3.5 who have reached Professional Membership in the AAMFT. The third includes marriage and family therapy professionals who
demonstrate high dedication to scholarship and professional leadership by earning the designation of Clinical Fellow by the AAMFT. Membership in Delta Kappa requires application through a
local chapter and an application fee.
All MFT
programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family
Therapy Education (COAMFTE) are eligible to install a Delta Kappa chapter. For
